David Braverman is the Managing Vice President, Equities. In this role, he leads the Equity team within the Investment Division. This team includes investment professionals who oversee over 10 funds, including actively and passively managed equity funds. He has 38 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, he was at Standard & Poor’s where he served as Vice President of their Investment Advisory Services division. In this role, he led a group that provided asset allocation, as well as management of fund of funds relationships with several large clients. Mr. Braverman also created equity strategies used in unit investment trusts and structured notes. In addition, Mr. Braverman is the author of The Standard & Poor’s Guide to Saving and Investing for College, published in 2004. Previously, he served on the committee that selects the stocks for various S&P indexes, including the S&P 500. He received a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Adelphi University and is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.
